Starkweather And Caril Fugate--The Killings Began 66 years ago today.

On this day Charlied killed Caril's mother, stepfather and little sister. Caril's role in the killings is still hotly debated to this day. Whether she was in the house or not when her family was murdered, Charlie and Caril spent the next six days in the house, turning away visitors, while the three bodies lay frozen in outbuildings only a few yards away. One photo is of Charlie, and the other is of Caril and her little sister washing dishes not long before the little girl was murdered.
